Abstract
Os estudos sobre processos de inserção e permanência de alunos cotistas em cursos de formação profissional tem sido tema de interesse na área educacional. O objetivo desse estudo foi analisar os percursos formativos e as vivencias, as condições de permanência e as perceptivas de futuro dos estudantes beneficiados pela assistência estudantil de cursos técnicos do IF Sudeste MG, Campus de Muriaé. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e análise de formulários sócio econômicos de cinco estudantes. Os dados foram organizados e tratados conforme a técnica de análise de conteúdo. Por meio da análise dos dados, foi possível apreender que os estudantes integram famílias pertencentes às camadas populares, com poucos recursos financeiros e baixa escolaridade. Ao longo dos percursos e vivências nos cursos, os estudantes se adaptaram ao novo contexto e transformaram o habitus. A concessão de apoio financeiro foi destacada como fundamental para a permanência dos estudantes nos cursos.
Studies on processes of inclusion and permanence of quota students in professional training courses have been a topic of interest in the educational field. The objective of this study was to analyze the formative paths and experiences, the conditions of permanence and the perceptions of the future of the students benefited by the student assistance of technical courses at the IF Sudeste MG, Campus de Muriaé. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysis of socioeconomic forms of five students. The data were organized and treated according to the content analysis technique. Through data analysis, it was possible to apprehend that the students belong to families belonging to the lower classes, with few financial resources and low education. Along the courses and experiences in the courses, the students adapted to the new context and transformed the habitus. The granting of financial support was highlighted as fundamental for the students to remain in the courses.
