Trabalho, técnica e tecnologia: uma análise das produções do Serviço Social sobre as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação

Abstract

Sob a égide da crise estrutural do capital e das marcas do capitalismo dependente, a vida contemporânea assiste à colonização do ócio e da subjetividade pela mediação digital no cotidiano. Diante desse cenário, o debate sobre a “tecnologia” assume protagonismo em diferentes áreas do conhecimento, seja com foco em ferramentas e dispositivos digitais ou no uso da Inteligência Artificial (IA) Generativa. Nesta dissertação, investiga-se quais perspectivas teórico-metodológicas subjazem e orientam o debate sobre a inserção das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TICs) na produção de conhecimento do Serviço Social, veiculada nos periódicos da área. Contrapondo-se ao fetiche da técnica — expresso no debate da tecnologia como entidade autônoma, o estudo apropria-se da dimensão ontológica e teleológica do trabalho para perfurar a “retórica facilitadora” e as mutações no léxico do capital, que operam como expressão da racionalidade reacionária vigente. Sob a orientação do método materialista histórico-dialético, a pesquisa articulou uma uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (RSL) à análise de conteúdo categorial, analisando com base no arcabouço teórico, composto pela amostra de 22 artigos publicados em periódicos de Serviço Social (Qualis A1) entre 2019 e 2024. Os achados revelam que a plataformização dos serviços públicos engendra a datificação da vida, a sobrecarga laboral e o adoecimento psíquico dos profissionais. Evidencia-se que a construção desse debate está adensada por meio de categorias como subsunção do trabalho ao capital, reestruturação produtiva e nova morfologia do trabalho. Conclui- se que a discussão na área, embora em construção, assenta-se em bases críticas sólidas, cruciais para romper a aparência fenomenal do “progresso técnico” e alertam a profissão para o desafio ético-político na disputa pelos sentidos da tecnologia no horizonte do projeto profissional e da vida coletiva. Palavras-chave: tecnologia ; serviço social; capitalismo dependente; filosofia da técnica.Under the aegis of the structural crisis of capital and the marks of dependent capitalism, contemporary life witnesses the colonization of leisure and subjectivity by digital mediation in daily life. Given this scenario, the debate on "technology" takes center stage across different fields of knowledge, focusing either on digital tools and devices or on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). This dissertation investigates which theoretical-methodological perspectives underlie and guide the debate on the insertion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) within Social Work’s production of knowledge, as published in the area's reference journals. Countering the fetishism of technique — expressed in the debate on technology as an autonomous entity — the study appropriates the ontological and teleological dimension of labor to pierce through the “facilitating rhetoric” and the mutations in the lexicon of capital, which operate as an expression of the current reactionary rationality. Guided by the historical-materialist dialectical method, the research articulated a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with categorical content analysis, analyzing, based on the theoretical framework, 22 articles published in Social Work journals (Qualis A1) between 2019 and 2024. The findings reveal that the platformization of public services engenders the datafication of life, labor overload, and the psychological illness of professionals. It is evident that the construction of this debate is deepened through categories such as the subsumption of labor to capital, productive restructuring, and the new morphology of labor. It is concluded that the discussion in the field, although still under construction, is grounded on solid critical foundations, which are crucial to rupture the phenomenal appearance of “technical progress” and alert the profession to the ethical-political challenge in the dispute over the meanings of technology within the horizon of the professional project and collective life.
