Abstract
O presente artigo objetiva apresentar a utilização do Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem - AVA como meio de acessibilidade ao ensino da Língua Brasileira de Sinais - LIBRAS no contexto do ensino superior. A pesquisa envolveu a formação de uma equipe
interdisciplinar para o entendimento e a formação acerca do uso de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação - TICs. A metodologia da pesquisa foi baseada em uma abordagem qualitativa, em que foram utilizados como métodos de coleta e discussão dos dados a observação participante e notas de campo. Os dados foram produzidos no contexto de sala de aula de LIBRAS do ensino superior, para verificar a apreensão dos(as) acadêmicos(as) frente aos conteúdos gramaticais a partir dos recursos postados no ambiente virtual. Os resultados demonstram que a utilização do AVA no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da LIBRAS, usufruindo de uma diversidade de matérias visuais, evidencia melhorias no percurso prático de apreensão linguística, se desenvolvida de forma responsável, sob orientação docente e levando em consideração a realidade de todos os envolvidos no processo.
This article proposes to present the use of the Virtual Learning Environment - VLE as one way of accessibility for teaching and learning Brazilian Sign Language - LIBRAS in higher education. The research involved an interdisciplinary group to understand how to use and be trained through Information and Communication Technologies - ICT’s. The research was designed from a qualitative approach, and the data collection and discussion were based on participant observation and the field notes in the classroom context, teaching LIBRAS in higher education. It was used as a base for resources to apprehend the student’s knowledge about grammatical content through Virtual Learning Environment. The results demonstrate that the use of VLE in the teaching of LIBRAS and learning process show improvements in the practical course of linguistic apprehension, if it is used in a responsible way and taking into account the reality of all involved.
