Enraizamento de estacas de soja (Glycine max (L.) Merrill). I. Avaliação de características físicas e químicas

Abstract

Objetivando utilizar estacas de soja para propagação vegetativa, foram avaliadas características físicas e químicas de estacas medianas e apicais das variedades “IAC-S' e “Garimpo”. Observaram-se maiores diâmetros de caule, largura e comprimento do folíolo central da folha trifoliolada remanescente das estacas da variedade “IAC-8”, comparada com as da “Garimpo”. O mesmo ocorreu para as estacas medianas em relação às apicais, incluindo-se, nesta avaliação, amido na folha. Estacas medianas da variedade “IAC-S' apresentaram maior peso total de matéria fresca e seca por estaca, açúcares solúveis e amido na folha em relação aos demais tratamentos

Airning at the utilization of stem segments to vegetatively propagate the soybean, physical and chemical characteristics of segments from the median and apical portions of the stem of “IAC-8” and “Garimpo” cultivars were evaluated. Increased stem diameter, length and width of the central foliole of the remaining trifoliolate leaf of “IAC-8, were observed, when compared with those of “Garimpo'. The same fact was observed when the median stem segment was compared with the apical. The median stem of “IAC-8ª cultivar presented higher total fresh and dry matter weight per stem segment, and soluble sugar and starch in the leaves, in relation to other treatments
