Identidade ocupacional no Secretariado Executivo

Abstract

Esta pesquisa aborda o tema identidade ocupacional na profissão de Secretariado Executivo, objetivando analisar as implicações da construção da identidade ocupacional na maneira como esses profissionais veem suas carreiras e geram expectativas sobre sua profissão. Com base na abordagem da identidade ocupacional, foram extraídos três perfis profissionais os ambivalentes, os crédulos e os céticos – e discutidas as implicações desses perfis para os profissionais. Verificou-se que alguns profissionais se enraizaram em um discurso de insatisfação e descrença, enquanto outros foram enfáticos ao demonstrar interesse em se manter na profissão em longo prazo.

This research deals with the occupational identity theme in the profession of Executive Secretariat, ai- ming to analyse the implications of the occupational identity construction in the way these professionals see their careers and create expectations concerning their profession. From the occupational iden- tity approach, it was possible to extract three professional profiles – the ambivalent, the credulous and the skeptics – and discuss the possible implications of these profiles for the individuals and their careers. It was observed that some professionals have taken root in a speech of dissatisfaction and disbelief in the profession, others were emphatic to show interest in maintaining their occupation in the long term.
