Impacto macroeconômico em empreendimentos nascentes: análise com os microempreendedores individuais brasileiros

Abstract

A formalização das empresas é vital para a estabilidade dos novos negócios e empregos formais no Brasil. Nesse contexto, objetivou-se analisar a influência da situação macroeconômica do Brasil na abertura e fechamento de Microempreendedores Individuais (MEIs). Para alcançar esse propósito, investigamos as correlações entre os dados de abertura e fechamento de MEIs, o Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) e a taxa de desocupação no país. A metodologia adotada classifica-se como aplicada, explicativa e quantitativa. Os dados foram analisados utilizando a correlação de Pearson, aplicado através do Teste t, bem como a regressão simples, com o uso do Teste F-ANOVA, todos a um nível de significância de 5%. Os resultados evidenciaram uma forte correlação positiva entre a abertura de MEIs e a taxa de desocupação, enquanto a correlação com o PIB foinegativa, moderada e estatisticamente não significativa. Não foi observada uma correlação estatisticamente significativa entre o fechamento de MEIs e os fatores macroeconômicos analisados. Portanto, conclui-se que a taxa de desocupação desempenha um papel importante na quantidade de MEIs abertos (apresentando uma relação diretamente proporcional), enquanto o PIB do país tem menos impacto na abertura de MEIs (apresentando uma relação inversamente proporcional).The formalization of companies is vital for the stability of new businesses and formal jobs in Brazil. In this context, we aimed to analyze the influence of Brazil's macroeconomic situation on the opening and closing of Individual Micro-Entrepreneur (IMEs). To achieve this, we investigated the correlations between data on the opening and closing of IMEs, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the unemployment rate in the country. The methodology adopted is classified as applied, explanatory and quantitative. The data was analyzed using Pearson's correlation, applied through the t-test, as well as simple regression, using the F-ANOVA test, all at a significance level of 5%. The results showed a strong positive correlation between the opening of IMEs and the unemployment rate, while the correlation with GDP was negative, moderate and not statistically significant. There was no statistically significant correlation between the closure of IMEs and the macroeconomic factors analyzed. It can therefore be concluded that the unemployment rate plays an important role in the number of IMEs opened (showing a directly proportional relationship), while the country's GDP has less impact on the opening of IMEs (showing an inversely proportional relationship).
