Crenças de estudantes do Ensino Médio sobre o uso das TDIC na aprendizagem da língua espanhola

Abstract

Este estudo investigou 143 estudantes do Ensino Médio (EM) de um colégio de aplicação de uma universidade federal de Minas Gerais com o objetivo principal de identificar algumas crenças sobreo uso (ou não) das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) na aprendizagem daLíngua Espanhola (LE). Além disso, buscou identificar suas crenças em relação à aprendizagem deLE e compreender como essas crenças se relacionam (ou não) com os usos das tecnologias. Foram utilizados como instrumentos de coleta de dados três questionários semiabertos aplicados em momentos distintos durante a pesquisa. O referencial teórico foi baseado nos estudos de crenças sobre ensino e aprendizagem de línguas (BARCELOS, 2004, 2007, 2013), TDIC (PAIVA, 2010,2013; VALENTE, 2012) e crenças em relação às TDIC (GILAKJANI, 2012, LEAL 2015). Empregou-se parâmetros de pesquisa qualitativa para a análise de dados (PATTON, 1990;RICHARDS, 2003), os quais sugerem que embora os estudantes compreendem a relevância dasTDIC para a aprendizagem em geral e as usem em seu dia a dia, esse uso ainda é pouco didático.

This study investigated 143 high school (HS) students from a college applying a federal universityin Minas Gerais. It aimed mainly at identifying some of their beliefs about the use/not use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) in the Spanish Language (SL) learning. Additionally, it proposed to identify their beliefs about the Spanish Language learning and understand how these beliefs relate (or not) to the uses of technologies. Three semi-structured questionnaires used as data collection instruments, and applied in different moments of the research.The theoretical framework was based on beliefs about teaching and teaching (BARCELOS, 2004,2007, 2013), DICT (PAIVA, 2010, 2013, VALENTE, 2012) and beliefs about DICT (GILAKJANI,2012, LEAL, 2015). Findings were analyzed according to the qualitative research parameters(PATTON, 1990; RICHARDS, 2003). They suggest that although students understand the importance of DICT to learning, and use them in their everyday life, this use is very restrict when supporting learning.
