Influência do tratamento de sementes com óleo mineral sobre a emergência das plântulas e produtividade da soja, (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill)

Abstract

Foi conduzido um ensaio em área experimental da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Viçosa, Minas Gerais, com a finalidade de avaliar o efeito do tratamento das sementes de variedades de soja com óleo mineral, na ausência e presença de inoculante a fungicida, sobre a emergência e desempenho das plantas no Campo. Utilizou-se o esquema fatorial 5x2x2x2 (cinco variedades e dois níveis de óleo diesel, fungicida e inoculante), com quatro repetições. As variedades de soja utilizadas foram: 'UFV- 1', 'UFV-5', 'Sucupira', 'Juparanã' e 'Uberaba''. No tratamento das sementes empregou-se o fungicida Captan, óleo diesel e maculante, nas doses de 150 g, 400 ml e 500g por 100 kg de sementes, respectivamente. Avaliaram-se o número de plântulas cinemas, o “stand” final e o rendimento de grãos, em kg/ha. O óleo diesel, na presença do fungicida, não prejudicou & emergência, () “stand” final das plantas no campo e a produção de grãos. Houve redução do “stand” final e da produção de grãos com o tratamento das sementes apenas com óleo e inoculante. Não houve significância da interação de variedade e tratamento de sementes.

A trial was carried out in the growing season of 1985/86, in the experimental field of UFV at Viçosa, Minas Gerais, to evaluate the effect of treating seeds of soybean varieties with mineral oil, in the presence or absence of inoculant and fungicide, on emergence and plant performance in the field. Seeds of five varieties, 'UFV- 1', 'UFV-5','Sucupira', 'Iuparanâ', and 'Uberaba', Were treated or left untreated with the fungicide Captan, Diesel oil and inoculant in a dosage of 150 g, 400 ml and 500 g per 100 kg of seed, respectively, in a 5x2x2x2 factorial combination trial; The number of emerged seedlings, final stand and grain yield, in kg/ha, were evaluated. Diesel oil in the presence of fungicide was not detrimental to any of the evaluated traits. Treating the seeds only with oil and inoculant was detrimental to the final stand and grain yield. The interaction variety x seed treatment was not significant.
