A disciplina de sociologia no Colégio de Aplicação da UFV

Abstract

Considerando a importância de estudar os sistemas educacionais e as dinâmicas institucionais e sociais no Brasil, o presente artigo busca analisar a construção da disciplina de sociologia no Colégio de Aplicação da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, a partir da sua inserção obrigatória na matriz curricular do ensino médio, e a possível relação dessa inclusão com a mobilização dos estudantes do CAp-COLUNI em torno de pautas por maior participação política e representação discente nos espaços institucionais. Como objetivo inicial de delinear os caminhos a serem percorridos no projeto, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a metodologia e epistemologia da pesquisa científica, seguida de um levantamento de dados relativos à obrigatoriedade da disciplina no ensino médio e à sua estruturação no Colégio de Aplicação, através de uma análise documental qualitativa, acompanhada da intepretação histórica dos documentos referentes às alterações nas matrizes curriculares e à participação dos alunos nos órgãos institucionais do Colégio. Destarte, observou-se o incremento das práticas políticas adotadas pelos estudantes no espaço escolar e o acréscimo de demandas específicas do corpo discente, apontando a necessidade da continuidade da pesquisa para consolidação e ampliação da análise sobre os efeitos da inclusão da sociologia no Colégio de Aplicação da UFV.

Considering the importance of studying educational systems and institutional and social dynamics in Brazil, this article seeks to analyze the construction of the subject of sociology at the School of Application of the Federal University of Viçosa, from its mandatory insertion in the curriculum of high school , and the possible relationship of this inclusion withthe mobilization ofCAp-COLUNI students around guidelines for greater political participation and student representation in institutional spaces. With the initial objective of delineating the paths to be taken in the project, a bibliographic review was made on the methodology and epistemology of scientific research, followed by a survey of data related to the compulsory nature of high school subject and its structuring in the School of Application , through a qualitative document analysis, accompanied by the historical interpretation of the documents referring to the changes in the curriculum and to the student participation in the institutional bodies of the School. Thus, there was an increase in the political practices adopted by students in the school space and an increase in specific demands of the student body, pointing to the need for further research to consolidate and expand the analysis on the effects of the inclusion of sociology in theUFV Application School.
