“Travesti não é bagunça” uma análise discursivo-crítica das representações de Luana Muniz nas práticas midiáticas jornalísticas digitais

Abstract

Neste artigo, propomos reflexões sobre como o “corpo diferente”, o que não atende às regulações da norma hegemônica, é representado discursivamente nas práticas midiáticas jornalísticas digitais sob a perspectiva dos estudos discursivos críticos (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001; 2003). Selecionamos cinco títulos de notícias e seus respectivos títulos auxiliares, os quais informaram a morte da travesti Luana Muniz, em 06 de maio de 2017. A análise dos títulos e de seus subtítulos será desenvolvida a partir de subsídios fornecidos pela Análise do Discurso Textualmente Orientada (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001) e pela Teoria da Representação dos Atores Sociais (VAN LEEUWEN, 1996), com o objetivo de compreender como se constroem os discursos sobre as identidades travestis e, principalmente, quais são as representações desses corpos dissidentes nas práticas midiáticas jornalísticas digitais. Por fim, a partir das macrocategorias de inclusão e exclusão (VAN LEEUWEN, 1996), buscaremos analisar como os atores envolvidos foram representados nessas práticas sociais.

In this article we are trying to promote reflections about how the queer body, the body that does not inscribe itself under the hegemonic and normative regulations, is discursively represented in the journalistic media practices. Therefore we are going to promote the discussion under the perspective of the Critical Discourse Analysis (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001, 2003). We selected five news headlines and their subheads regarding the death of the transvestite Luana Muniz, on the 6 th of may, in 2017. The analysis of the headlines and subheads is going to be developed from the subsides supplied by the ADTO (FAIRCLOUGH, 2001), by the Transitivity System (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2004) and by the Theory of the Representation of the Social Actors (VAN LEEUWEN, 1996). We aim to understand how the discourse about the identities of the transvestites are built, and mainly, which are the representations of these bodies in the digital journalistic media practices. Lastly, we are going to analyze how the social actors involved were represented in these social practices by using the macro categories of inclusion and exclusion (VAN LLEUWEN, 1996).
