O letramento midiático nos planos de aula da Nova Escola de Língua Portuguesa dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental

Abstract
Nesta pesquisa, de análise documental, investigamos como o letramento midiático vem sendo proposto nos planos de aula da plataforma Nova Escola (NE), no componente curricular Língua Portuguesa, para os anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Desse modo, identificamos e selecionamos as habilidades da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), da área de ensino analisada, que fazem referência a elementos do letramento midiático. Posteriormente, comparamos as habilidades selecionadas da BNCC com os planos de aula disponíveis na NE, para determinar as que foram utilizadas como base na construção desses planos. Especificamente, analisamos as estratégias didáticas utilizadas e como as habilidades do letramento midiático estão sendo desenvolvidas nesses planos de aula. Teoricamente, nos pautamos nas contribuições de Paulo Freire para a educação, em especial, no campo que integra a mídia e a educação e em referenciais teóricos atrelados aos multiletramentos e ao letramento midiático. Além disso, apresentamos o histórico da NE e o seu interesse pela implantação da BNCC e pela formação de professores. A partir desse histórico, refletimos sobre a motivação e o interesse de grandes empresários na educação pública do país, em especial, da Fundação Lemann, mantenedora da Associação NE, que possui grande interesse na implementação da BNCC. Nossos resultados revelaram que a maioria das propostas apresentadas nos planos de aula podem desenvolver, de maneira crítica, habilidades do letramento midiático, desde que os professores que as usam como referência no planejamento das aulas, compreendam a importância de desenvolvê-lo. De modo geral, as atividades propostas podem incentivar os estudantes a refletirem sobre os conteúdos que consomem e produzem, o que se alinha à proposta de alfabetização crítica, de Freire. Observamos também que as estratégias didáticas, descritas nos planos, podem favorecer uma participação ativa dos alunos, e promover uma abordagem dialógica e colaborativa nos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem. Entretanto, ressaltamos a importância de os professores elaborarem seus próprios planos, adaptando as sugestões de acordo com a realidade e as especificidades de suas turmas. Isso é fundamental para garantir que as práticas pedagógicas sejam eficazes e contextualizadas. Palavras-chave: Letramento Midiático; Nova Escola; BNCC; Planos de aula; Língua portuguesa.
This paper of documental analysis investigates how media literacy has been proposed in lesson plans of Nova Escola, also known as NE (New School) platform, inside the Portuguese subject, for the early years of Elementary Education. Therefore, the Base Nacional Comum Curricular, also known as BNCC (Brazilian National Common Core Curriculum), abilities of the analyzed subject, which refer to media literacy elements, were identified and selected. Afterward, it compares BNCC’s selected abilities with lesson plans available in NE, to determine which were a base in making these plans. Specifically, it analyzes the didactic strategies used and how the media literacy abilities are being developed in these lesson plans. Theoretically, it is guided by Paulo Freire's contribution to education, more specifically, in the integrated media and education field, and theoretical references lined to multiliteracies and media literacy. Besides, it presents NE’s background and interest in implementing BNCC and teachers' training. Through this background, it reflects about great entrepreneurs’ motivation and interest in Brazilian public education, in special, Fundação Lemann’s (Lemann Foundation), NE’s sponsoring institution, which possesses a big interest in BNCC’s implementation. The results reveal that most proposals presented on lesson plans could improve media literacy critical abilities, as long as teachers who use those as reference for lesson planning, comprehend the importance of developing it. Generally, the activities can incentivize students to reflect on the contents that they consume and produce, which aligns with Freire’s critical literacy proposal. It is also observed that didactic strategies, described in lesson plans, could benefit students’ active participation and promote a dialogical and collaborative approach to teaching and learning processes. Nonetheless, we emphasize the importance of teachers preparing their own lesson plans and adapting the suggestions according to reality and their class specificities.
