Desenvolvimento sustentável nos estados brasileiros

Abstract

O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar e analisar quais fatores influenciam a promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável nos Estados Brasileiros. Desde a Desde a publicação do Relatório Brundtland, em 1987, além da definição de novas bases para o desenvolvimento sustentável, os gestores públicos têm dado a devida atenção às políticas e comportamentos que foram listados como necessários para permitir que o planeta se desenvolva, dando igual importância às práticas econômicas, ambientais e sociais. Nesse sentido, além de identificar e analisar quais fatores são determinantes na promoção de desenvolvimento sustentável, foi construído um índice para os Estados Brasileiros, com a intenção de responder a seguinte indagação: quais fatores determinam a promoção do desenvolvimento sustentável nos Estados Brasileiros? Visando atender aos objetivos deste trabalho, como também em analisar os fatores que promovem a sustentabilidade, os resultados foram retirados de múltiplas variáveis, mediante as três principais dimensões: ambiental, social e econômica. Assim, o estudo buscou descrever os fatores determinantes no desenvolvimento sustentável nos Estados Brasileiros, mediante uma abordagem quantitativa de análise, utilizou-se como técnicas e ferramentas a Estatística Descritiva, com a Análise Fatorial, a Análise de Clusters e o Teste de Médias. Índice de Sustentabilidade.The objective of this research is to identify and analyze which factors influence the promotion of sustainable development in Brazilian states. Since the Brundtland Report was published in 1987, and the new bases for sustainable development were defined, public managers have given due attention to the policies and behaviors that were listed as being necessary to allow the planet to develop, giving equal importance to economic, environmental and social practices. In this sense, besides identifying and analyzing which factors influence the promotion of sustainable development, a sustainable development index was built for the Brazilian states, with the intention of answering the following question: which factors determine the promotion of sustainable development in Brazilian states? In order to meet the objectives of this work and the construction of a sustainable development index, as well as to analyze the factors that promote sustainable development, the results of multiple variables were analyzed from three main dimensions: environmental, social and economic. The study sought to describe the factors that determine sustainable development in Brazilian states, and in order to operationalize the research, the approach that was quantitative, used as techniques and tools, descriptive statistics, with factor analysis, cluster analysis and the test of means.
