Redescobrindo Arquimedes através da história da matemática: construção de um Geogebra Book sobre os poliedros arquimedianos

Abstract

Este projeto tem como objetivo a construção de um Geogebra Book que aborde os sólidos arquimedianos, visando promover o ensino da Geometria Espacial através da integração da história da matemática e da utilização de software educativo. A relevância desta pesquisa está na necessidade de transformar o ensino de geometria, utilizando o conhecimento histórico aliado com as tecnologias digitais para tornar o aprendizado mais significativo. Levando em consideração que, ao conhecer o passado, podemos construir um futuro melhor para o ensino de matemática. A aplicação da história da matemática no ensino, combinada com o uso do software Geogebra como ferramenta pedagógica, forma a base deste trabalho, que visa estimular o interesse e a compreensão dos estudantes sobre a geometria. A metodologia adotada será de caráter qualitativo e teórico, com uma abordagem investigativa. A pesquisa envolve uma revisão bibliográfica e a criação de um GeoGebra Book, que servirá como um recurso didático interativo para professores e estudantes. As conclusões destacam as contribuições deste projeto para o ensino da geometria espacial, sublinhando a importância de integrar a história da matemática e o uso de tecnologias digitais como ferramentas eficazes e inovadoras no ensino. This project aims to build a Geogebra Book that addresses the Archimedean solids, aiming to promote the teaching of Spatial Geometry through the integration of the history of mathematics and the use of educational software. The relevance of this research lies in the need to transform the teaching of geometry, using historical knowledge combined with digital technologies to make learning more meaningful. Taking into account that, by knowing the past, we can build a better future for mathematics teaching. The application of the history of mathematics in teaching, combined with the use of the Geogebra software as a pedagogical tool, forms the basis of this work, which aims to stimulate the interest and understanding of students about geometry. The methodology adopted will be qualitative and theoretical, with an investigative approach. The research involves a literature review and the creation of a GeoGebra Book, which will serve as an interactive didactic resource for teachers and students. The conclusions highlight the contributions of this project to the teaching of spatial geometry, underlining the importance of integrating the history of mathematics and the use of digital technologies as effective and innovative tools in teaching.
