Abstract
A racionalização dos recursos públicos reduziu o corpo docente e técnico, o investimento em infraestrutura e o número de matriculados na educação superior. A eficiência do uso dos recursos aportados para o Reuni dependeu de boas práticas de gestão. O trabalho analisou os indicadores de desempenho das universidades considerando o financiamento da expansão do ensino superior pelo Reuni. Assim, avaliou o alcance da meta global e analisou a evolução desses indicadores propostos pelo Tribunal de Contas da União nas universidades localizadas em Minas Gerais/Brasil. Constatou-se que a relação de 18 alunos por professor não foi alcançado e a taxa de sucesso na graduação ficou abaixo de 90%.
The rationalization of public funds has reduced the number of professors and technical personnel, the infrastructure and the number of enrolled in higher education. The efficiency of the usage of funds invested in Reuni depended on good financial management ractices. This paper has analysed the universities’ performance indicators based in the financing of the expansion from higher education through REUNI.Thus, it has evaluated the global target and has analysed the evolution of the indiators proposed by the Tribunal de Contas da União in the universities located in Minas Gerais/Brazil. It was observed that the relation of 18 students per professor was not achieved and the success rate in undergraduate was below 90%.
