Relações de Gênero intermediando a ascenção social do português no Brasil a partir de O Cortiço(1890)

Abstract

A presente pesquisa lança sua investigação sobre aspectos históricos e sociais das relações de gênero na sociedade urbana brasileira de fins do século XIX a partir do estudo do romance O Cortiço (1890). Para tanto, buscará um olhar pautado nas interações da Literatura com a História, pois destas relações nascem possibilidades muito profícuas para o pesquisador, seja da História, seja da Literatura. Observará também, as condições que envolvem a estética Naturalista, e a atmosfera sócio-cultural da época.This research investigates the relation of genres based on historical and social aspects in the urban brazilian society in the scenario of the end of XIX century through the novel O Cortiço (1890). Therefore, the research attempts to find a point of view based on the interaction between Literature and History, because from this interaction come a lot of possibilities which are very profit both for the historical research or for the literature one. It will also observe the conditions that involve the Naturalistic aesthetic and the social-cultural atmosphere of that time.
