Histomorfometria de lesões agudas da mucosa gástrica de ratos Wistar induzidas por ácido acetilsalicílico, e os efeitos cicatrizantes do extrato aquoso do repolho (Brassica oleracea variedade capitata)

Abstract

Este trabalho objetivou investigar os efeitos cicatrizantes do extrato aquoso de Brassica oleracea var. capitata (EAB), analisando histologicamente as úlceras induzidas por ácido acetilsalicílico em modelo animal. Foram avaliados cinco tratamentos: 250, 500 e 1000 mg/kg de EAB, omeprazol a 20mg/kg e veículo aquoso. Foi realizada a descrição macroscópica e histológica do estômago de ratos Wistar. Verificou-se que o a administração do extrato aquoso de Brassica oleracea var. capitata na concentração de 1000mg/kg promoveu melhor taxa de cicatrização, seguido pelo omeprazol. Entretanto o tratamento com EAB na concentração de 1000mg/kg, em valores absolutos demonstrou ser o mais eficaz por haver uma melhora adicional no quadro das lesões, cerca de 95,77% a mais de redução das lesões quando comparado ao grupo tratado com omeprazol. Verifica-se que os resultados estão de acordo com os achados etnobotânicos e com outros estudos já realizados com a Brassica sp., confirmando assim seu efeito terapêutico sob forma de extrato aquoso para a cicatrização de úlcera gástrica. Os dados da descrição anatômica e histológica do estômago de ratos Wistar visam acrescentar conhecimentos sobre esta espécie e permitindo maior acesso à comunidade científica que faz uso da espécie em modelo de úlceras gástricas.

This work aimed at to investigate the healing effects of the aqueous extract of Brassica oleracea var. capitata (EAB), analyzing histological the ulcers induced by acetylsalicylic acid in animal model. They were appraised five treatments: 250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg of EAB, omeprazole to 20mg/kg and aqueous vehicle. The macroscopic and histological description of the stomach of mice was accomplished Wistar. It was verified that the the administration of the aqueous extract of Brassica oleracea var. capitata in the concentration of 1000mg/kg promoted better cicatrization tax, following for the omeprazole. However the treatment with EAB in the concentration of 1000mg/kg, in absolute values demonstrated to be the most effective for there being an additional improvement in the picture of the lesions, about 95,77% the more of reduction of the lesions when compared to the group treated with omeprazole. It is verified that the results are in agreement with the discoveries etnobotanicals and with other studies already accomplished with the Brassica sp., confirming like this his/her therapeutic effect under form of aqueous extract for the peptic ulcer cicatrization. The data of the anatomical and histological description of the stomach of mice Wistar seek to increase knowledge about this species and allowing larger access to the scientific community that he/she makes use of the species in model of peptic ulcers.
