Relações de poder em uma instituição financeira

Abstract

Neste artigo, analisa-se a dinâmica das relações de poder que permeiam as práticas cotidianas, tal como percebidas por profissionais de agências bancárias. Procedeu-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, foram entrevistados 18 funcionários que atuam nos setores de caixa e gerência. Os resultados apontaram que a gestão do banco desenvolve um sistema de controle para domesticar, vigiar e engendrar o indivíduo ao ideário da organização. Com processos de motivação, premiação e punição, eles constroem trabalhadores dóceis e concordantes com as metas propostas. Assim, são minimizados os comportamentos desviantes, no intuito de manter a eficácia do seu sistema de dominação e exploração.Power relations in organizations are central to the concerns of multiple streams of humanities and social sciences. By investigating the power relations in any organization are identified as intertwine the various influence and control systems. The aim of this study was to investigate the dynamics of power relations that permeate the everyday practices in a financial institution. The implanted productive restructuration in the banking sector has been causing a readjustment of power relations in these organizations. A qualitative research was conducted in a bank being interviewed 18 employees who worked in cash and management. The results showed that the management of the bank develops a system of control to tame, and monitor individual to engender the ideals of the organization. Processes with motivation, reward and punishment, they build workers docile and consistent with the goals proposed. Thus, deviant behaviors are minimized in order to maintain the effectiveness of its system of domination and exploitation.
