Água magnetizada sobre a reprodução de pequenos ruminantes

Abstract

Estudos sobre a ingestão de água magnetizada por animais de produção têm sido cada vez mais realizados, a fim de compreender seu mecanismo de ação e influência no meio animal. Diante do exposto, com o presente trabalho, objetivou-se avaliar o efeito do consumo de água magnetizada sobre a biometria testicular, comportamento sexual e características do sêmen de bodes. Foram utilizados oito bodes das raças Saanen e Pardo Alpina, hígidos, distribuídos ao acaso em dois tratamentos, em que o grupo 1 (AM), contendo quatro animais, foi submetido ao tratamento de água magnetizada (AM) e os animais do grupo 2 (AC) permaneceram consumindo água comum (AC) até o final do experimento. Foram realizadas 14 coletas, utilizando o método de vagina artificial, avaliando a expressão de comportamentos sexuais, libido e os aspectos macro e microscópicos do sêmen. A mensuração da biometria testicular foi realizada em três tempos (início, meio e final do período experimental). Animais que consumiram AC apresentaram tempo de reação e libido superior aos animais que ingeriram AM. As variáveis de biometria testicular, vigor espermático, turbilhonamento, motilidade progressiva, integridade de membrana e morfologia espermática não foram estatisticamente diferentes entre os tratamentos. O volume de ejaculado mostrou-se superior no tratamento de AM, sem que a concentração espermática fosse comprometida. Palavras-chave: Caprinocultura.; Qualidade do Sêmen. ; Reprodução Animal.

Studies on the ingestion of magnetized water by farm animals have been increasingly carried out in order to understand its mechanism of action and influence on the animal environment. Because of this, the present work was conducted to evaluate the effect of consumption of magnetized water on testicular biometry, sexual behavior and characteristics of goat semen. Eight healthy Saanen and Pardo Alpina goats were used, randomly distributed into two treatments, in which group 1 (AM), containing four animals, was subjected to magnetized water (AM) treatment and the animals in group 2 (AC) remained consuming common water (AC) until the end of the experiment. Fourteen collections were carried out, using the artificial vagina method, evaluating the expression of sexual behaviors, libido and the macro and microscopic aspects of the semen. Testicular biometry was measured at three times (beginning, middle and end of the experimental period). Animals that consumed AC had a higher reaction time and libido than animals that ingested AM. The variables of testicular biometry, sperm vigor, turbulence, progressive motility, membrane integrity and sperm morphology were not statistically different between treatments. The ejaculate volume was shown to be higher in AM treatment, without sperm concentration being compromised. Keywords: Goat Farming. ; Semen Quality. ; Animal Reproduction.
