Abstract
Ensino Remoto Emergencial. Sociabilidade. TDIC.
In view of the atypical context that was the Covid-19 pandemic, mainly in the educational field, this research sought to analyze the process of sociability in Remote Emergency Teaching (ERE) through Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) at Escola Estadual Dom Francisco das Chagas (EEDFDC). The school is located in the rural area of the municipality of Ervália, a municipality located in the Zona da Mata in the state of Minas Gerais, which predominantly receives students from the countryside. The methodology of this research is based on a case study, and the data collected were through synchronous interviews carried out through the Google Meet platform with sixteen students from the aforementioned school. The interviewees were divided into two groups: the first who had access to the internet since the ERE started, and another group composed of students who started to have access to the internet after the ERE started. The data from the interviews were analyzed using the content analysis method. The results achieved allow us to state that the cell phone was the most used mobile technology for educational uses and contact with classmates and teachers. The TDIC played an important role as sociotechnical mediators in the interviewees' communication process. It was possible to analyze the sociability occurring at specific moments of the ERE, such as on school Saturdays that took place virtually and in WhatsApp groups in which there was interaction with few colleagues and some teachers. It is concluded from this research that sociability was modified during the performance of the ERE, as less contact between subjects influences a lower occurrence of sociability. In addition, DICT played an important role both in continuing the studies and in mediating sociability when it occurred. Keywords: Covid-19. Taught Emergency Remote. Sociability. TDIC.
