A geografia escolar e as questões ambientais

Abstract

Ao longo do século XX, a Geografia Escolar oscilou entre a total despolitização da visão naturalista até a visão marxista. Estas perspectivas, durante muito tempo foram auto-excludentes, porém a demanda ambiental requisita uma nova forma de compreensão da realidade, a fim de melhor atuar no processo de organização do espaço geográfico. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho, procura refletir sobre a contribuição da Geografia Escolar frente à problemática ambiental à luz da dicotomia da Geografia Científica.

Along the century XX, the school geography oscillated among to total alienation of the naturalistic vision to the marxist vision. These perspectives, for a long time were solemnity-excluding, however the environmental demand requests a new form of understanding of the reality, in order to best to act in the process of organization of the geographical space. In this sense, the present work, tries to contemplate about the contribution of the geography school front to the environmental problem to the light of the dichotomy of the scientific geography.
