Abstract
O presente artigo tem por objetivo observar as representações sociais sobre educação cooperativista entre os estudantes do curso de Graduação em Cooperativismo (GCOUFV) da Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), e analisá-las sob a ótica da teoria das Representações Sociais (TRS). Considerando a opção pela teoria das representações sociais como lente teórica, optou-se por um método de natureza sociológica, de abordagem qualitativa, e em relação ao método, esta pesquisa se enquadra como estudo de caso. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de aplicação de questionários estruturados, disponibilizados por meio eletrônico, permitindo a participação anônima dos informantes, totalizando 44 informantes, e observação participante em espaços de discussão sobre educação cooperativista em uma turma da disciplina Educação Cooperativista II, durante o período compreendido entre setembro e novembro de 2019. Nos resultados, as representações sociais observadas sobre a educação cooperativista, se mostraram relacionadas às condições sociais sob as quais encontram significação e ao contexto social em que estão imersas e permeia tantos aspectos políticos (infusão de valores, incentivo a participação, decisões, fontes de coesão e confiança baseadas em princípios), quanto processos técnicos (metodologias, assistência técnica, gestão de recursos, profissionais especializados) e institucionalização da EC (através de formalização, estrutura organizacional, mecanismos de governança dentro das organizações).
This article aims to observe the social representations of cooperative education among students of the Cooperative Graduation course (GCOUFV) of the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), and analyze them from the perspective of the theory of Social Representations (TRS). Considering the choice of the theory of social representations as a theoretical lens, we opted for a method of sociological nature, with a qualitative approach, and in relation to the method, this research fits as a case study. Data collection was performed by applying structured questionnaires, made available electronically, allowing the anonymous participation of the informants, totaling 44 informants, and participant observation in spaces for discussion about cooperative education in a class of the discipline ERU-473 (Cooperative Education).II), during the period between September and November 2019. In the results, the observed social representations about cooperative education were related to the social conditions under which they find meaning and to the social context in which they are immersed and permeates so many political aspects (infusion of values, encouragement of participation, decisions, sources of cohesion and trust based on principles), as technical processes (methodologies, technical assistance, resource management, specialized professionals) and institutionalization of the CE (through formalization, organizational structure). governance mechanisms within organizations).
