Análise da temperatura da pele em joelhos de jogadoras de futebol profissional

Abstract

Objetivo: Analisar a temperatura da pele da articulação do joelho em jogadoras de futebol profissional. Metodologia: Um total de 22 mulheres (idade: 23,96 ± 3,70 anos; massa corporal: 63,53 ± 5,97 kg; estatura: 164,39± 5,44 cm; % gordura: 21,10 ± 6,26 %) futebolistas profissionais participaram do estudo. Após 10 minutos de aclimatação (23ºC e UR 50%-60%), a temperatura da pele (TP) foi obtida através de duas imagens termográficas (TIR-25, Fluke®) de membros inferiores (anterior e posterior). As regiões corporais de interesse (RCI) avaliadas foram os joelhos (face anterior e posterior), delimitadas com ferramenta circular no software Smartview® 3.1. O teste de ShapiroWilk foi utilizado para analisar a distribuição dos dados. O Test T de Student foi usado para comparar a TP entre os joelhos. O nível de significância adotado foi de p≤0,05 e o pacote estatístico utilizado foi o PRIMER. Resultados: Na face anterior a TP foi de 28,82 ± 1,41ºC no joelho direito e 28.75 ± 1.36 ºC no esquerdo. Já na face posterior a TP foi de 30,69 ± 1,06 ºC no joelho direito e de 30,52 ± 0,92 ºC. Não foram encontradas diferenças significativas na TP entre os segmentos contralaterais avaliados. As diferenças médias obtidas entre os dimídios corporais (direito vs esquerdo) foram 0,07 ± 0,38 ºC e 0,18 ± 0,59 ºC para as faces anterior e posterior respectivamente. Por outro lado, foi identificada uma diferença significativa entre a região anterior e posterior de cada joelho (p<0,05), com uma diferença média 1,87 ºC e 1,77 ºC nos joelhos direito e esquerdo respectivamente. Conclusão: As jogadoras profissionais de futebol avaliadas apresentaram simetria térmica na articulação dos joelhos, tanto na região anterior quanto na posterior. A temperatura da região posterior do joelho é mais elevada que a região anterior.

Objectives: To analyze the skin temperature of the knee joint in women professional soccer players. Methods: A total of 22 women (age: 23.96 ± 3.70 years, body mass: 63.53 ± 5.97 kg, height: 164.39 ± 5.44 cm, % fat: 21.10 ± 6.26%) professional footballers participated in the study. After 10 minutes of acclimatization (23 ºC and 50-60% UR), skin temperature (TP) was obtained through two thermographic images (TIR-25, Fluke®) of lower limbs (anterior and posterior). The body regions of interest (RCI) evaluated were the knees (anterior and posterior), delimited with a circular tool in Smartview® 3.1 software. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used to analyze the distribution of the data. The Student's T-Test was used to compare TP between the knees. The significance level adopted was p≤0.05 and the statistical package used was PRIMER. Results: In the anterior face the PT was 28.82 ± 1.41ºC in the right knee and 28.75 ± 1.36ºC in the left. In the posterior aspect, the PT was 30.69 ± 1.06 ºC in the right knee and 30.52 ± 0.92 ºC. There were no significant differences in the TP between the contralateral segments evaluated. The mean differences obtained between the body sides (right vs. left) were 0.07 ± 0.38 ºC and 0.18 ± 0.59 ºC for the anterior and posterior faces respectively. On the other hand, a significant difference was identified between the anterior and posterior regions of each knee (p <0.05), with a mean difference of 1.87 ºC and 1.77 ºC in the right and left knees, respectively. Conclusion: The soccer players evaluated showed thermal symmetry in the knee joint, both in the anterior and posterior regions. The temperature of the posterior region is higher than the anterior region.
