Abstract
INTRODUÇÃO: Tomando como referência o mercado de trabalho competitivo e cada vez mais exigente, em que uma melhor qualificação normalmente assegura melhor remuneração e oportunidades, no futebol essa perspectiva não é diferente, sendo necessário verificar como esse fenômeno social ocorre neste esporte. OBJETIVO: Verificar como os profissionais de Educação Física estão se qualificando e de que maneira é realizada a inserção destes nos clubes de futebol do país. METODOLOGIA: O método da pesquisa foi feito através de uma amostra de conveniência, para isso foram selecionados 31 alunos da turma VII do curso de Especialização em Futebol da Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Os participantes tinham idade média de 27,7 anos sendo oriundos de diversos estados do país, todos formados em Educação Física. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de um questionário dividido em dois grupos. O primeiro para identificação de características gerais da amostra. O segundo grupo foi composto de 8 questões objetivas sobre tópicos do futebol brasileiro, qualificação profissional e inserção do profissional que trabalha com futebol em diversas áreas do mercado de trabalho. O questionário foi aplicado entre os meses de agosto e setembro de 2013, quando foi realizada uma análise estatística dos questionários por meio da distribuição da porcentagem das respostas. RESULTADOS: 78% dos entrevistados acreditam que os profissionais de Educação Física ainda precisam melhorar a busca por qualificação. Constatou-se equilíbrio de opiniões sobre ex-jogadores, que não tem formação em Educação física, se tornarem técnicos de futebol: 35% não consideram a formação importante, enquanto 35% acreditam que essa formação é necessária. Verificou-se que 32% consideram a o preparador físico como a função de maior importância para um educador físico atuar no futebol 58% dos entrevistados opinaram que a melhor forma de se contratar um jogador seria através de uma análise curricular garantida principalmente por uma especialização na área. Observou-se que 24% dos entrevistados consideram que a maior vantagem em se contratar um educador físico para atuar em um time seria um melhor planejamento dos treinos. 46% consideraram que o profissional de Educação Física deve ter como requisito principal para ser contratado pelo clube uma especialização. 34% disseram que estão cursando a especialização na área para obter maior conhecimento sobre o futebol. Constatou-se que 77% dos entrevistados consideram que é interessante o clube de futebol contratar um profissional com formação em educação física porque este possui nível teórico e prático para desenvolver um bom trabalho. CONCLUSÃO: Os profissionais de Educação Física estão se qualificando através de cursos especializados na área com intuito de obter maior conhecimento sobre o futebol. A qualificação de quem trabalha no espaço do futebol precisa ser melhorada, sobretudo a inserção dos profissionais de educação física, ainda acontece de forma modesta. Mesmo para aqueles que têm um excelente currículo, as oportunidades são reduzidas, principalmente na área técnica. O espaço ocupado pelo ex-atleta ainda é preferencial.
INTRODUCTION: In reference to the competitive and increasingly demanding labor market, where a better qualification usually ensures better remuneration and opportunities, in soccer this perspective is not different, and it is necessary to verify how this social phenomenon occurs in this sport. PURPOSE: To verify how Physical Education professionals are qualifying and how they are inserted in the soccer clubs of the country. METHODOLOGY: The research method was done through a convenience sample. For this purpose, 31 students from the VII class of the Specialization in Soccer course of the Federal University of Viçosa were selected. Participants had a mean age of 27.7 years, coming from different states of the country, all of them trained in Physical Education. The research was performed through a questionnaire divided into two groups. The first one to identify general characteristics of the sample. The second group was composed of 8 objective questions on topics of Brazilian soccer, professional qualification and insertion of the professional that works with soccer in several areas of the labor market. The questionnaire was applied between August and September 2013, when a statistical analysis of the questionnaires was performed by means of the distribution of the percentage of responses. RESULTS: 78% of respondents believe that Physical Education professionals still need to improve their quest for qualification. There was a balance of opinions about former players, who do not have a background in Physical Education, become football coaches: 35% do not consider the formation important, while 35% believe that this formation is necessary. It was verified that 32% consider to the physical trainer as the most important function for a physical educator to play in football. 58% of respondents thought that the best way to hire a player would be through a curricular analysis guaranteed mainly by a specialization in the area. It was observed that 24% of the interviewees considered that the greatest advantage in hiring a physical educator to work in a team would be a better planning of the training sessions.46% considered that the professional of Physical Education should have as main requirement to be hired by the club a specialization. 34% said they are pursuing specialization in the area to gain more knowledge about football. It was found that 77% of the interviewees consider that it is interesting the soccer club to hire a professional with training in physical education because it has a theoretical and practical level to develop a good job. CONCLUSION: The Physical Education professionals are qualifying through specialized courses in the area in order to gain more knowledge about soccer. The qualification of those who work in the soccer space needs to be improved, especially the insertion of physical education professionals, still happens modestly. Even for those with an excellent curriculum, the opportunities are reduced, especially in the technical area. The space occupied by the former athlete is still preferential.
