Abstract
A proposta do artigo é apresentar uma abordagem teórica para o estudo de produtos eletrodomésticos e sua utilização cotidiana pelas pessoas. Entende-se economia familiar como área de conhecimento que deve se preocupar com a satisfação
dos sujeitos na aquisição, na alocação adequada de recursos, e no uso de produtos em seu cotidiano, a partir das avaliações em termos de segurança e êxito na utilização, atualmente demandadas pelas empresas e organismos governamentais e não governamentais. As primeiras buscam ciar vantagem competitiva; as segundas, resguardar os direitos do consumidor em suas relações de consumo. Um conjunto de conhecimentos foi construído e sistematizado respondendo às questões: como se dá a prática das pessoas e suas ações instrumentalizadas pelos produtos, quais processos individuais estão a ela relacionados e como se constituem. A ideia é disponibilizar um
instrumental de base para pesquisas e prática, bem como mostrar a interface da economia familiar com as empresas/instituições.
The aim of this paper is to present a theoretical approach to the study of household products and their use by the people in her everyday life. Means family economics as a field of knowledge that should be concerned with the satisfaction of the subjects in the acquisition, the appropriate allocation of resources, and the use of products in their everyday lives, as to the evaluations of safety and success in use, currently demanded by enterprises and governmental and nongovernmental organizations. The first looking for competitive advantage; the second, looking for safeguard consumer rights in their consumer relations. A body of knowledge has been built and systematized by answer the questions: how is the practice of people and their actions with the products, which individual processes are related to it and how they constitute. The idea is to provide an instrumental base for research and practice, as well as showing the interface of the family economy with companies / institutions.
