Cultura maker no ensino básico

Abstract

Este trabalho investiga algumas contribuições da Cultura Maker para o ensino de Matemática na educação básica. A ênfase é a utilização do Makey Makey como recurso pedagógico articulado ao ensino de conceitos da Teoria dos Grafos. A pesquisa fundamenta-se em uma revisão bibliográfica sobre Cultura Maker. A dissertação apresenta propostas didáticas que integram a construção de artefatos físicos, a programação em Scratch e a resolução de problemas clássicos da Teoria dos Grafos, como: o Problema das Sete Pontes de Königsberg, o Problema das Três Casas e Três Serviços, o Problema do Carteiro Chinês e o Problema do Caminho Seguro, incluindo a aplicação do Algoritmo de Dijkstra. Como material complementar, foram desenvolvidos: um canal no YouTube e um guia pedagógico voltado ao uso do Makey Makey, com o objetivo de ampliar a aplicabilidade prática do trabalho e oferecer subsídios a professores da educação básica. Os resultados da revisão de literatura apontam que a integração entre Cultura Maker, tecnologia e Matemática favorecem a aprendizagem ativa, o protagonismo discente e a aproximação entre conceitos abstratos e situações do cotidiano. Espera-se que este trabalho contribua para a ampliação do repertório metodológico docente e inspire práticas pedagógicas inovadoras no ensino de Matemática. This study investigates contributions of Cultura Maker to the teaching of Mathematics in basic education. The focus is on the use of Makey Makey as a pedagogical resource articulated with the teaching of concepts from Graph Theory. The research is based on a bibliographic review on Cultura Maker. The dissertation presents didactic proposals that integrate the construction of physical artifacts, programming with Scratch, and the resolution of classical Graph Theory problems, such as the Seven Bridges of Königsberg Problem, the Three Houses and Three Utilities Problem, the Chinese Postman Problem, and the Safe Path Problem, including the application of Dijkstra’s Algorithm. As complementary material, a YouTube channel and a pedagogical guide focused on the use of Makey Makey were developed, aiming to expand the practical applicability of the work and to provide support for basic education teachers. The results of the literature review indicate that the integration of Cultura Maker, technology, and Mathematics promotes active learning, student protagonism, and the connection between abstract concepts and everyday situations. It is expected that this work contributes to the expansion of teachers’ methodological repertoire and inspires innovative pedagogical practices in Mathematics education.
