Café com Agroecologia: integrando conhecimentos

Abstract

A Agroecologia é uma ciência que dialoga com diferentes áreas de conhecimentos via metodologias participativas. Em contexto de troca de saberes surgiu o "Café com Agroecologia", promovido pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Agroecologia da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, com encontros mensais. Agregam estudantes do ensino fundamental e médio, graduação e pós-graduação, professores, técnicos, produtores rurais e demais interessados pela Agroecologia. O encontro normalmente é iniciado pela fala do facilitador/ palestrante sobre o tema a ser discutido. Em seguida, são promovidos posicionamentos e questionamentos que, comumente, são direcionados ao facilitador. O espaço é aberto à troca, preparo e degustação de alimentos e bebidas diversas, visando valorizar a socioagrobiodiversidade e a confraternização entre os participantes. O artigo visa propor reflexões sobre a popularização da Agroecologia, como também divulgar, compreender e compartilhar o funcionamento das vivências ocorridas nos encontros.

Agroecology is a science that dialogues with different knowledge through participatory actions and methodologies. In the context of knowledge exchange, "Coffee with Agroecology", promoted by the Agroecology Graduate Program of Universidade Federal de Viçosa, with monthly meetings that bring together people from elementary and middle school students, undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, technicians, farmers and others interested in Agroecology. The meeting is initiated by the facilitator speech on the topic to be discussed. Then, placements and questions are promoted for directed to the facilitator. The space is open to the exchange, preparation and tasting of diverse foods and beverages, aiming to value the sociobiodiversity and atmosphere of fraternization among the participants. The theoretical essay aims to propose reflections on the popularization of Agroecology, disseminate, understand and share the workings of the experiences occurred at meetings.
