Abstract
Esta pesquisa objetiva investigar as contribuições da Robótica Educacional para o ensino de Matemática nos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental, na perspectiva das Investigações Matemáticas. Aliado às tecnologias, utilizaremos as investigações matemáticas com o intuito de ajudar a trazer para a sala de aula o espírito da atividade matemática genuína, constituindo uma poderosa abordagem educativa. Neste trabalho a metodologia de pesquisa qualitativa se mostra pertinente, pois se preocupa com os dados coletados de uma forma pessoal e interpretativa. O público alvo são alunos dos Anos Finais do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública estadual localizada no município de Viçosa – MG. Os dados foram coletados a partir de fotografias dos encontros, das folhas de atividades resolvidas pelos estudantes, e dos registros no caderno de campo. Para analisar os dados produzidos durante a pesquisa consideramos a interação dos alunos ao longo da realização das atividades de Robótica Educacional para o ensino de Matemática na perspectiva da Investigação Matemática, que envolve quatro momentos principais: reconhecimento da situação; formulação de conjecturas; realização de testes; e validação do trabalho realizado. As conclusões da pesquisa indicam que a robótica educacional desempenha um papel crucial como uma forma de comunicação e interação social, uma vez que os alunos se envolveram com a atividade, e se divertiram de forma curiosa, abrindo novas possibilidades e mostrando uma aproximação dos alunos com a Matemática. Com a realização das atividades, constatamos que a robótica possui a capacidade de proporcionar discussões matemáticas sobre construção de figuras planas, instigar a curiosidade dos alunos, possibilitar a generalização matemática, motivar a interação entre alunos e professores em momentos de discussão das atividades. Ainda verifiquei que o uso deste recurso permitiu ao aluno, compreender o que foi trabalhado nas atividades, possibilitando o enriquecimento dos processos de ensino e de aprendizagem, favorecendo a construção de conhecimentos. This research aims to investigate the contributions of Educational Robotics to the teaching of Mathematics in the Final Years of Elementary School, from the perspective of Mathematical Investigations. Allied to technologies, we will use mathematical investigations in order to help bring the spirit of genuine mathematical activity to the classroom, thus constituting a powerful educational approach. In this work, the qualitative research methodology is relevant, as it is concerned with the data collected in a personal and interpretative way. The target audience are students in the Final Years of Elementary School at a state public school located in the municipality of Viçosa - MG. Data were collected from photographs of the meetings, from activity sheets resolved by the students, and from records in the field notebook. In order to analyze the data produced during the research, we considered the interaction of the students during the realization of the Educational Robotics activities for the teaching of Mathematics in the perspective of the Mathematics Investigation, which involves four main moments: recognition of the situation; conjecture formulation; conducting tests; and validation of the work done. The research conclusions indicate that educational robotics plays a crucial role as a form of communication and social interaction, since the students got involved with the activity, having fun in a curious way, opening new possibilities and showing an approach of the students with Mathematics . As the activities were carried out, we found that robotics has the ability to provide mathematical discussions on the construction of flat figures, instigate students' discussion, enable mathematical generalization, and motivate curiosity among students and teachers in moments of interaction between activities. I also verified that the use of this resource allowed the student to understand what was worked on in the activities, allowing the enrichment of the teaching and learning processes, favoring the construction of knowledge.
