O surgimento do futebol na cidade de piumhi e a criação de clubes amadores

Abstract

Introdução: O futebol é o tipo de esporte coletivo mais praticado no Brasil e, assim, se tornou uma referência na construção cultural e social humana. De tal modo, é interessante realizar um levantamento histórico sobre o seu surgimento em diversas cidades do Brasil, para um entendimento nacional desse processo, principalmente em cidades do interior, pois, dessa forma, denota sua importância em fatos passados e presentes na atualidade e se torna um resgate histórico que garante a preservação da memória do povo e auxilia no entendimento da forma com que o futebol passou a ser o principal esporte do Brasil. Objetivo: Identificar o surgimento e desenvolvimento do futebol amador em uma cidade do interior de Minas Gerais, denominada Piumhi. Metodologia: Foram utilizadas variadas fontes de pesquisas tais como livros, artigos, sites, redes sociais, jornais e acervo de clube de futebol. Com maior destaque para o escritor Marcus Arantes que, além de publicar um livro que conta memórias do futebol na cidade de Piumhi, também assinou uma coluna em um jornal entre os anos de 2013 até 2016, retratando assim o dia a dia do futebol. Com o material coletado, foi possível estabelecer uma base documental para construção deste artigo. Resultados: O registro oficial de criação do primeiro clube de futebol foi em 1919 chamado Atlético Piumhiense Futebol Clube, que está ativo até hoje. Em seguida, outros três clubes foram criados, denominados em ordem de cronológica: América Piumhiense Futebol Clube (principal rival do Atlético Piumhiense Futebol Clube), Bela Vista Esporte Clube (clube de bairro, muito apoiado por seus moradores) e o Piumhi Tênis Clube (formado basicamente por sócios do clube) todos de características amadoras. Embora esses clubes apresentem propriedades amadoras, são grandes vencedores por se manterem ativos até atualmente - por suas vitórias em competições regionais e até por revelarem talentos esportivos. Todo esse sucesso dos clubes, caracteriza-se, principalmente, pelo apoio da população/torcida que é fiel ao seu clube. Conclusão: O futebol na cidade de Piumhi (MG) teve seu primeiro registro em 1920 e o Jornal Alto São Francisco destaca o clube Atlético Piumhiense Futebol Clube, que é considerado o maior e mais antigo clube da cidade. Durante o estudo, outros três clubes amadores foram explorados: o América Piumhiense Futebol Clube (1944), o Bela Vista Futebol Clube (sem data definida) e o Piumhi Tênis Clube (2007), todos ainda atuantes. Ressalta-se que, na década de 50, foram criados dois clubes amadores: o Ipiranga Futebol Clube e o 13 de Maio Futebol Clube, que não resistiram ao tempo e hoje fazem parte da memória local.Assim, os clubes amadores de Piumhi (MG) são fruto de perseverança, desejo e amor ao futebol, que se consolidou com o tempo e hoje fazem parte da história dessa cidade.Introduction: Soccer is the most popular type of team sport in Brazil and, thus, has become a reference in the human cultural and social construction. Thus, it is interesting to conduct a historical survey of its emergence in several cities of Brazil, for a national understanding of this process, mainly in inland cities, as this denotes its importance in past and present events and becomes a historical rescue that ensures the preservation of people's memory and helps in understanding the way soccer became the main Brazil's sport. Objective: To identify the emergence and development of amateur soccer in a city in the interior of Minas Gerais, called Piumhi. Methodology: Various sources of research were used such as books, articles, websites, social networks, newspapers and soccer club collections. Most notably writer Marcus Arantes, who, in addition to publishing a book that tells soccer memories in the city of Piumhi, also subscribed to a newspaper column between 2013 and 2016, thus depicting the day to day of soccer. With the material collected, it was possible to establish a documentary basis for the construction of this article. Results: The official record of creation of the first soccer club was in 1919 called Atlético Piumhiense Futebol Clube, which is still active today. Then three other clubs were created, named in chronological order: América Piumhiense FutebolClube (main rival of Atlético Piumhiense Futebol Clube), Bela Vista Esporte Clube (neighborhood club, much supported by its residents and Piumhi Tênis Clube (formed primarily by club members) all amateurish. Although these clubs have amateurish properties, they are big winners for staying active today - for their victories in regional competitions and even for revealing sports talent. All this success of the clubs, is characterized, mainly, by the support of the population / fans that is faithful to their club. Conclusion: Soccer in the city of Piumhi (MG) had its first record in 1920 and the Alto São Francisco newspaper highlights the club Atlético Piumhiense FutebolClube, which is considered the largest and oldest club in the city. During the study, three other amateur clubs were explored: América Piumhiense FutebolClube (1944), Bela Vista Futebol Clube (undefined date) and Piumhi Tênis Clube (2007), all still active. It is noteworthy that in the 1950s, two amateur clubs were created: Ipiranga FutebolClube and 13 de Maio FutebolClube, which did not stand the test of time and are now part of local memory. Thus, the amateur clubs of Piumhi (MG) are the result of perseverance, desire and love for soccer, which has consolidated over time and today are part of the history of this city.
