A prática educativa dos movimentos sociais na construção da agroecologia

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo foi analisar a importância da democracia ampliada no desenvolvimento da justiça social a partir das práticas educativas desenvolvidas pelo “Movimento Agroecológico” da zona da mata mineira. Teve como base empírica as ações do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura Familiar – SINTRAF, de Espera Feliz/MG. As questões norteadoras deste estudo foram: há elementos dessas práticas educativas que poderiam configurar uma “pedagogia agroecológica? Qual a relação dessas práticas com a educação popular? Que práticas foram essas e de que forma geraram mudanças nas práticas dos agricultores e agricultoras familiares? As práticas analisadas foram constituídas por espaços voltados para a agricultura familiar e para a democratização dos espaços de produção. Suas ações geraram mu- danças nas práticas de agricultores e agricultoras familiares na construção das políticas públicas para a agricultura familiar e na competência para acessá-las, contribuindo para a permanência do agricultor no campo.

The objective of this paper was to analyze the importance of extended democracy in the development of social justice from educational practices developed by “Eco- logical Movement” of the zona da mata of Minas Gerais, on empirical basis of actions of Union workers in Agriculture-SINTRAF-of Espera Feliz-MG. The question that has guided the study was: there are elements of these educational practices that could set up an “agroecological pedagogy”?
