A concepção dos conselheiros sobre seu papel no Conselho Municipal de Saúde

Abstract

Este estudo objetivou analisar as representações sociais dos conselheiros municipais de saúde, especificamente os representantes da sociedade civil. Foram feitas 15 entrevistas, traçou-se o perfil socioeconômico dos entrevistados e, em seguida, os textos foram analisados por meio do software ALCESTE. Os resultados mostram uma representação social marcada por uma visão de mudança e preocupação com as políticas de saúde do município, apontando um espaço que não se restringe a uma mera formalidade, mas que valoriza a participação, o processo decisório e deliberativo, bem como de monitoramento e fiscalização das políticas de saúde do município.

This study aimed to analyze the social representations of municipal health councilors, specifically representatives of civil society, regarding the role of counselor and council in Viçosa-MG.Fifteen interviews were carried out, the socioeconomic profile of the interviewees was traced and the texts were carried out using ALCESTE. The results show a social representation marked by a vision of change and concern with the health policies of the municipality, pointing out a space that is not restricted to mere formality, but that values the participation, decision making and deliberative process, as well as monitoring and control of health policies of the municipality.
