Memórias, esquecimentos e dispersão: trajetórias de servidores técnico-administrativos em educação da Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1990-2020)

Abstract

Este estudo investigou as histórias e memórias dos servidores técnico-administrativos em educação na trajetória da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, o modo como estes sujeitos aparecem na história oficial da instituição e a percepção que a categoria tem de si em relação ao seu lugar na instituição ao longo dos últimos 30 anos. Para tanto, foram analisados documentos que narram a sua história oficial desde a sua origem até a atualidade, intercalando a versão preservada oficialmente pelo grupo detentor do poder universitário com a realidade sobre uma categoria intermediária e de base, que são os servidores técnico-administrativos em educação. Ao empreender este esforço inicial, constatou-se uma perda das memórias sobre o grupo nesta academia, o que evidenciou a urgência em incluir e/ou elencar e valorizar o papel dos demais agentes da ciência que compõem a universidade. Após apurar que a atuação deste grupo passou despercebida pelos estudos acadêmicos, a pesquisa se concentrou em desnudar características atinentes à categoria técnica, ao traçar um perfil deste grupo nos últimos 30 anos, relacionando- o com marcos legais fundamentais para a consolidação e aprimoramento das suas relações laborais. Em seguida, fomentou-se um espaço onde os técnicos puderam expressar a percepção que têm de si e do seu trabalho na história institucional, possibilitando o registro, visibilidade e divulgação do patrimônio humano da UFV, na ótica deste grupo. Concomitantemente, a pesquisa suscitou a carência de estudos sobre este segmento e a ausência de políticas públicas institucionais de gerenciamento das memórias destes atores invisibilizados na história oficial. Universidade.This study investigated the stories and memories of the technic-administrative servers in education on the UFV’s path, the way in which these subjects appear in the official history of the institution and the perception that the category has of itself in relation to its place in the institution over the last 30 years. For that, documents that narrate its official history from its origins to the present were analyzed, interspersing the version officially preserved by the group holding the university’s power with the reality of an intermediate and base category, which are the technic-administrative servers in education. When undertaking this initial effort, there was a loss of memory about the group in this academy, which showed the urgency of including and/or listing and valuing the role of the other agents of science that make up the university. After ascertaining that the performance of this group went unnoticed by academic studies, the research focused on revealing relevant characteristics to the technical category, profiling this group since the last 30 years, relating it with legal and fundamental landmarks to the consolidation and development of their labor relations. Then, a space was created where the technicians could express the perception they have of themselves and their work in institutional history, enabling the recording, visibility and dissemination of the UFV's human heritage, from the perspective of this group. Simultaneously, the research raised the lack of studies on this segment and the absence of the institutional public policies for managing the memories of these people unseen by the official history.
