Lazer e turismo na fronteira Jaguarão, BR-Río Branco, UY: mediações pelo Couchsurfing.org

Abstract

O artigo objetiva analisar as possibilidades de aproximação e distanciamento conceitual entre Lazer e Turismo, enquanto campos teóricos. Para tanto, toma-se como ponto de partida uma investigação netnográfica sobre a rede social de viajantes denominada Couchsurfing, “surfe de sofá”, traduzido da língua inglesa. O lócus físico da investigação deu-se na fronteira Río Branco, UY, Jaguarão, BR, possibilitando o entendimento da práxis de viagem nesse destino turístico através do olhar anfitrião e, também, viajante.

El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las posibilidades de aproximación y separación conceptual entre ocio y turismo, como campos teóricos. Por lo tanto, toma como punto de partida una investigación netnográfica en la red social de viajeros llamada Couchsurfing, "couch surfing", traducido del Inglés. El lugar físico de la investigación se llevó a cabo en la frontera entre Río Branco, UY, Yaguarón, BR, lo que permite la comprensión de la carrera de la práctica de este destino turístico a través del host ojos y también viajero.

The article aims to analyze the possibilities of conceptual approximation and distance between Leisure and Tourism as theoretical fields. To do so, a netnographic investigation of the social network of travelers called Couchsurfing, "sofa surf", translated from the English language, is taken as starting point. The physical locus of the investigation took place at the border of Rio Branco, UY, Jaguarão, BR, making possible the understanding of the praxis of trip in that tourist destination through the host and also, traveler.
