Anatomia funcional comparativa do estômago de três peixes Teleostei de hábito alimentar onívoro

Abstract

Neste trabalho foi descrita e comparada a anatomia, do estômago de Leparinus reinhardti, Brycon Zundii e Pimelodus Sp., três espécies de Teleostei de água doce de hábito alimentar onívoro. Nas três, o estômago é cecal, em Y em Leparinus reinhardti e Brycan Zundii e em J em Pímelodus. Em Brycon lundii e região cecal é muito avantajada e em Pímelodus sp., a região pilórica, muito reduzida. Nas três espécies ocorre um forte esfíncter entre a região pilótica e o intestino médio: o esfíncter pílórico. Este é acompanhado, em Leparinus reinhardti e Pimelodus sp., pela valva pilóríca.In this paper the anatomy of the stomach ef Leparinus reinhardti Brycon lundii and Pimelodus sp., three Species of fresh water Teleostei with emnivorous feeding habits, is described and compared. In the three species, the stomach is caecal, Y-shaped in Leparínus reinhardti and Brycon lundíi and is I -shaped in Pimelodus sp. In Brycon lundii, the cecal region is very large and ia Pimelodus sp., the pyloric mgion is very reduced. In the three species a strong sphincter exists between the pyloric region and the middle intestine, the pyloric sphincter. This is conjugated, in Leparínus reinhardti and Pímeladus Sp., with the pyloric valve.
