Transição agroecológica na Rede Trem Natural-MG: conhecimentos, processos e práticas

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi apresentar o processo de transição agroecológica da Rede Trem Natural localizada no Campo das Vertestes-MG. Abordamos as concepções de agroecologia de seus membros, aspectos do campo de intervenção e ação dos atores sociais na microrregião de Barbacena e São João del- Rei e, também, os espaços formativos que foram construídos e deram sustentação à construção do conhecimento agroecológico nesta rede agroalimentar alternativa. Para tanto, o trabalho aqui elaborado parte de uma perspectiva de base qualitativa. Foram utilizadas três estratégias metodológicas para elaboração dos dados da pesquisa: análise de documentos, entrevistas semi-estruturadas on-line e o diário de campo. A análise de conteúdo serve de âncora para a construção das interpretações. A concepção de agroecologia, apresentada pelos atores da RTN, remonta à unicidade e à incorporação dos ciclos naturais, da visão holística da unidade produtiva reconectando a um princípio de observação e integração ao ambiente. Além disso a agricultura na perspectiva agroecológica, para eles, constrói uma perspectiva socioeconômica e cultural que envolve e valoriza a relação entre os agricultores e agricultoras e os consumidores, nas quais se estabelece vínculos de confiança e de valorização desse trabalho. Como podemos evidenciar, a articulação que mobiliza a inserção da discussão agroecológica dentro do Campo das Vertentes-MG parte da luta contra os agrotóxicos na microrregião de Barbacena, mobilizada inicialmente pela luta sindical. Essa luta, provocada pela organização sindical de trabalhadores rurais e alimentada pela Comissão Pastoral da Terra (CPT) tem papel central na organização social que deu base para as articulações em torno da agroecologia na região, alcançando também a microrregião de São João del- Rei. Nesse sentido a CPT, na microrregião de Barbacena, em suas ações, promoveu uma formação de consciência ambiental que desaguou no Projeto “Agroecologia, Homeopatia, Saúde e Segurança no Campo”. A partir desse projeto foram criados espaços formativos. Os espaços formativos que podemos considerar mais estruturais para a manutenção e fortalecimento da construção do conhecimento na RTN, são as feiras e os intercâmbios agroecológicos, principalmente pelos aspectos de se considerar a unidade produtiva como unidade cultural, o trabalho como princípio educativo e o fortalecimento das relações interpessoais de confiança que consolida um corpo social entorno da RTN. Os resultados dessa pesquisa, contribuem para a compreensão da dinâmica e articulação dos movimentos para a construção do campo agroecológico que vem se consolidando no Campo das Vertentes- MG, mais especificamente na microrregião de Barbacena e São João del-Rei. Compreendemos que a construção do conhecimento agroecológico não só fornece, mas potencializa o processo de transição agroecológica. Palavras-Chave: Construção do conhecimento agroecológico. The objective of this work was to present the process of agroecological transition of the Rede Trem Natural (RTN) located in Campo das Vertentes-MG. We addressed the conceptions of agroecology of its members, aspects of intervention and accion field of social actors in the micro-region of Barbacena and São João del Rei and also the formative contexts that were supported towards the construction of agroecological knowledge in this alternative agrifood network.Conceptions about what agroecology is were presented to the members, aspects of the intervention field and action of social actors in the micro-region of Barbacena and São João del-Rei, and the formative contexts that were supported towards the construction of agroecological knowledge in this alternative agrifood network. Therefore, this work is based on a qualitative perspective. Three methodological strategies were used to elaborate the research data: document analysis, online semi-structured interviews, and a field diary. The content analysis serves as an anchor for the construction of interpretations. The concept of agroecology, presented by the actors of RTN, goes back to the singularity and incorporation of natural cycles, from the holistic view of the productive unit, reconnecting itself to a principle of observation and integration with the environment. Furthermore, agriculture from an agroecological perspective, for them, is understood as a job that promotes dignity both for those who produce and for those who consume, building a socioeconomic and cultural perspective that involves and values the relationship between farmers and consumers, that stablish bonds of trust and appreciation of this work. As we can notice, the articulation that mobilizes the insertion of the agroecological discussion within Campo das Vertentes-MG starts in the fight against pesticides in the microregion of Barbacena, initially mobilized by the union struggle. This struggle, caused by the union organization of rural workers and promoted by the Pastoral Land Commission (CPT) has a central role in the social organization that provided the basis for articulations around agroecology in the region, also reaching the micro-region of São João del- Rei. Therefore, the CPT, in the micro-region of Barbacena, in its actions, promoted environmental awareness training that led to the Project “Agroecology, Homeopathy, Health and Safety in the Countryside”. From this project, formative contexts were created. The formative contexts that we can consider more structural for the maintenance and strengthening of knowledge construction in the RTN are fairs and agroecological exchanges, mainly because of the aspects of considering the productive unit as a cultural unit, work as an educational principle and the strengthening of trusting interpersonal relationships that consolidate a community around RTN. The results of this research contribute to the understanding of the dynamics and articulation of the movements for the construction of the agroecology that has been consolidating in Campo das Vertentes-MG, specifically in the micro-region of Barbacena and São João del-Rei. We understand that the construction of agroecological knowledge not only provides but enhances the agroecological transition process. Keywords: Construction of agroecological knowledge.
