Abstract
O objetivo do artigo é analisar a desigualdade da agricultura familiar entre os municípios do estado do Rio de Janeiro, considerando aspectos tecnológicos. Na análise, foram utilizadas as informações do Censo Agropecuário de 2006. Inicialmente, foram elaborados 58 indicadores de utilização de tecnologia. Mediante análise fatorial, esses indicadores foram sintetizados em quatro fatores, cujos valores possibilitaram o cálculo de um índice de utilização de tecnologia para cada município. Os resultados indicam que existe uma desigualdade nos níveis de modernização da agricultura familiar entre os municípios e que, em geral, eles têm uma agricultura familiar pouco
modernizada.
The objective of this paper is to analyze the inequality of family agriculture among the municipalities of the state of Rio de Janeiro, considering technological aspects. In the analysis, the information of the Agricultural Census (2006) was used. Initially, 58 indicators of technology were obtained. Through factor analysis, these indicators were synthesized in four factors, whose values were the basis for the estimative of an index of technology use, for each municipality. The results indicate that there is an inequality in the levels of modernization of family farming among the municipalities and that, in general, they have a little modernized family farming.
