Arquivo vivo: o patrimônio documental da Divisão de Saúde da Universidade Federal de Viçosa sob um olhar histórico e cultural (2007- 2023)

Abstract

O presente trabalho reflete acerca dos documentos como parte do patrimônio histórico e cultural brasileiro, trazendo luz ao patrimônio documental da Divisão de Saúde da Universidade Federal de Viçosa, situada no campus da cidade de Viçosa, em busca de conhecer as histórias e memórias construídas ao longo de sua existência. O recorte cronológico abrange dois marcos históricos e sociais que refletiram diretamente no funcionamento das Instituições de Ensino, inicia-se em 2007, ano em que o governo federal instituiu o Programa de Apoio a Planos de Reestruturação e Expansão das Universidades Federais - REUNI, e finaliza-se em 2023, ano em que foi decretado o fim da Pandemia de covid-19, fato que disseminou medo e insegurança à população em geral mundialmente, interferiu no planejamento acadêmico das instituições de ensino por mais de três anos e representou um desafio à Divisão de Saúde que se manteve em todo tempo na linha de frente do combate ao Coronavírus, acolhendo a comunidade universitária em suas necessidades e apoiando os serviços de saúde do município e região. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é conhecer o percurso histórico e as memórias da Divisão de Saúde a partir do seu Patrimônio documental e compreender o comportamento dos atendimentos no órgão no período do recorte temporal. Como produto final a pesquisa contribui com uma proposta de intervenção e boas práticas na gestão e organização do acervo arquivístico do órgão. Espera-se que este estudo colabore para a adequação do arquivo e adoção de práticas apropriadas para a preservação do acervo documental da Divisão de Saúde, bem como influencie novas pesquisas em torno da sua história e memórias. The chronological section covers two historical and social milestones that directly impacted the functioning of educational institutions. It begins in 2007, the year in which the federal government instituted the Support Program for Restructuring and Expansion Plans of Federal Universities - REUNI, and ends in 2023, the year in which the end of the covid-19 Pandemic was declared, a fact that spread fear and insecurity to the general population worldwide, interfered with the academic planning of educational institutions for more than three years, and represented a challenge to the Health Division, which remained at all times on the front line in the fight against the Coronavirus, welcoming the university community in its needs and supporting health services in the municipality and region. The general objective of this research is to understand the historical path and memories of the Health Division based on its documentary heritage and to understand the behavior of the services provided by the agency during the period covered. As a final product, the research contributes with a proposal for intervention and good practices in the management and organization of the agency's archival collection. It is expected that this study will contribute to the adaptation of the archive and the adoption of appropriate practices for the preservation of the Health Division's documentary collection, as well as influence new research on the history and memories of the DSA.
