Abstract
What aspects related to literacy studies can be useful for the technical training in journalism? This paper seeks answers to this question. Bearing in mind that text production constitutes a central activity in the journalist’s daily life, it becomes a need to investigate the teaching of writing aiming at training that professional. We propose to verify the extent to which contemporary approaches in that area, such as Multiple Literacies and Enunciativism, serve communications students’ process of learning to write news text. Finally, we intend to articulate theoretical stances with the practice of journalism in certain media, offering learners less prescriptive guidelines for text writing.
