Representações de crianças e adolescentes sobre trabalho remunerado e trabalho doméstico

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar e analisar as representações das crianças e adolescentes sobre a remuneração pelo trabalho e suas representações acerca das tarefas executadas por uma empregada e pela mãe. Por meio do Método Clínico Piagetiano, cujo instrumento é a entrevista clínica, realizou-se este estudo com crianças e adolescentes, tendo sido mostrado que o conhecimento sobre a remuneração evolui e as ideias dos sujeitos vão dos níveis mais simples aos mais complexos. Este estudo auxiliou na compreensão de como são repassados às crianças e adolescentes os valores e crenças de nossa sociedade sobre trabalho e trabalho doméstico. Percebeu-se que a compreensão dos sujeitos evolui e ocorre por níveis diferentes de conhecimento, podendo aparecer representações diferentes sobre a remuneração pelo trabalho e trabalho doméstico em uma mesma faixa etária.This study aimed to identify and analyze the representations of children and adolescents about the remuneration for work and their representations about the tasks performed by a maid and some mother. Through the Clinical Method of Piaget, whose instrument is the clinical interview, this study was performed with children and adolescents showing that knowledge about remuneration evolves, and subjects’ ideas extend from more simple to more complex levels. This study helped to understand how the values and beliefs of our society are passed to children and adolescents about work and housework. It was noted that the subject understanding evolves, and occurs through different levels of knowledge, and different representations may appear about the remuneration for the work and housework in the same age group.
