Abstract
The effect of different substrates on the acclimatization of in vitro propagated Marianna 2624 plum rootstock was studied. The work was conducted during 78 days in a greenhouse at Embrapa Temperate Climate, in Pelotas (RS-Brazil). The treatments consisted of four mixtures of substrates (v/v): caxbonized rice bulls: soil: manure (2:1:l); carbonized rice hulls: Plantmax© (l:3); carbonized zice hulls: humus (1:3) and caxbonized rice hulls: humus: soil (2:2:l). ln general, the glantlets grew in the substrate carbonized rice bulls: humus and caxbonized rice bulls: Plantmax© had the best survival percentage, the plantlet height and root length, number of leaves and fresh and dry matter of aerial part and root.
