Abstract
Based on the results, the research concluded that: 1) the FQA risk matrix can be used to classify occupational risks in forest harvesting activities; 2) the FQA matrix performs well in classifying occupational risks in forest harvesting activities when compared to other risk matrices and can be applied without major drawbacks. It is suggested that occupational safety and health professionals, when applying the tool, pay attention to the criteria evaluated for the classification of ergonomic and accident risks, seeking to minimize subjectivity.
