Abstract
The objective of this work was to study the accumulation and utilization of macronutrients in cultivars selected for organic manuring. The experiment was carried out in greenhouse with transplants in pots. The treatments were ll cultivars and tivo sources of fertilizers (mineral and organic) in an ll x 2 factorial arrange, in complete randomized design with three replications. The more responsive cultivars to the organic comp ost presented highest N eficiency utilization, indicating that this trait was determinant in cultivars response to organic compost. 'The high availability of K reduced the absorption of K and Mg and the cultivars more responsive to the organic compost tended to be more eficients to absorb or translocate Ca and Mg.
