Eficácia da Abamectina contra a mosca-minadora (Liriomyza sp.) (Diptera: Agromyzidae), em tomateiro

Abstract
A eficiência da abamectina, do cartape e do teflubenzurom no controle da mosca-miinadora (Liriomyza sp.) foi avaliada em tomateiro estaqueado. cv. Santa Cruz Kada, em ensaio realizado em Guiricema, Minas Gerais, no período de 23.10 a 24.11.1986. As respostas ao efeito dos inseticidas, em comparação com as do É inseticida-padrão, deltametrina, foram determinadas pela contagem do número de folíolos minados e pelo número de minas em lo plantas da parcela, lo dias após as quatro pulverizações dos inseticidas efetuadas a intervalo de 7 a 8 dias. A abamectina l8 CE (50, 75 e 100 ml/100 litros de água) foi o inseticida que melhor protegeu o tomateiro contra o ataque da mosca-miinadora. Não se constatou diferença significativa (p < 0,05) entre as respostas ao ataque desta praga em função das dosagens deste produto. O grau de proteção foi excelente, porquanto a percentagem de eficiência dele. em relação às respostas nas plantas-testemunhas, foi de, no mínimo. 91%. independentemente da dosagem do mesmo. O cartape 500 PS (180 g/100litros de água) protegeu. satisfatoriamente. o tomateiro contra o ataque do inseto. Entretanto. o grau de proteção, evidenciado por ambas as respostas, foi, significativamente, inferior (p < 0,05) ao da abamectina, independentemente da dosagem. A deltametrina 25 CE (40 ml/100 litros de água) e o teflubenzurom 15 SC (20 ml/100 litros de água) não protegerem. convenientemente, o tomateiro contra a praga. As respostas a este último não diferiram. significativamente (p < 0,05). das reveladas pelas plantas-testemunhas.
Responses of Liriomyza sp. to abamectin, cartap, and teflubenzuron Dn tomato, cv. Santa Cruz Kada, were evaluated in 3 trial conducted at Guiricema, Minas Gerais, from October 23 to November 24, l986. Responses to these insecticides, in comparison with deltamethrin, used as a standard insecticide, were measured by counting the number of nined-leaflets and the number of mines on ten plants/plot, ten days after Four sprays done at approximately weekly intervals. Abamectin (18 CE, 50. 75 and 1o0 ml/1o0 L) gave the best protection lgainst the leaf-miner. There were no significant differences (p < 0,05) lmong the responses to the dosages of abamectin. Computation of the Rectiveness of each dosage of abamectin by Abbott's formula was at least liº/o, in relation to responses measured for the control plants. Cartap (500 SP, l80 g/ 100 L) gave good plant protection against the meet. However, the protection level, as revealed by both kinds of esponses, was significantly lower (p < 0,05) than the one provided by each longe of'abamectin. Deltamethrin (25 CE, 40 ml/lo0 L) and teflubenzuron (lS CS, 20 ml/100 L) did not satisfactorily protect the tomato plants. Responses to the letter did not differ from those of the control plants.
