Contextualização para o melhor ensino de funções

Abstract

Esse trabalho aborda os conceitos de função. Citamos fatos históricos sobre o desenvolvimento do conteúdo de funções e a importância da resolução de problemas no raciocínio e aprendizado matemático. Utilizamos exemplos de Física, Química, Biologia e Geografia associados ao conteúdo de função com o objetivo de estreitar a relação da Matemática, em especial a função, com as disciplinas mencionadas.This work addresses the concepts of functions. We quote historical facts rela- ted to the development of the functions content, as well as the importance of the resolution of problems on the reasoning and learning of mathematics. We make use of examples from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography associated with the functions content with the objective of narrowing the relation of mathematics, especially functions, with the aforementioned disciplines. .
