O grupo Fuchsiano Γ 8g-4

Abstract

Neste trabalho, estudamos 0 Grupo Fuchsiano Γ 8g-4 relacionado a família de tes- selações hiperbólicas {8g - 4, 4}, que é um subgrupo discreto de PSL(2, R), onde g >= 2 representa 0 género. Esta tesselação apresenta propriedades geométricas interessantes, e os resultados ligados a essa teoria têm aplicações na teoria de códigos. Nosso objetivo é encontrar os geradores do grupo Γ 8g-4 para o caso em que g = 2. Também identificamos os elementos de Γ 12 com os elementos da ordem O associada a uma álgebra dos quatérnios A.In this work, we study the Fuchsian Group Γ 8g-4 related to the family of hyperbo- lic tessellations {8g-4, 4} which is a discrete subgroup of PSL(2, R), where g >= 2 represents the genus. This tessellation presents interesting geometric properties, and the results linked to this theory produce applications in coding theory. Our intention is to find the generators of the group Γ 8g-4 for the case where g = 2. We also aim to identify the elements of Γ 12 with the elements of order O associated with an quaternion algebra of A.
