Abstract

É intenção do presente artigo trabalhar o pensamento social do historiador e militante político Edward Palmer Thompson. Aqui serão discutidas as análises de Thompson sobre as conexões entre as ações coletivas e as culturas populares inglesas do século XVIII. Também serão trabalhadas as polêmicas do autor inglês com seus críticos.It is intention of the present article to work the social thought of the historian and militant politician Edward Palmer Thompson. Here the analyses of Thompson on the connections between the class actions and the English popular cultures of century XVIII will be argued. Also the controversies of the English author with its critics will be worked.
