Resumo
O presente trabalho teve como objetivo compreender/analisar a relação do souvenir turístico com a memória do turista/consumidor na cidade de Tiradentes – MG. A metodologia adotada para dar resposta aos objetivos da investigação teve por base inicialmente, uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a fim de delimitar do entendimento do conceito de souvenir, de memória, e consumo a fim de adquirir uma base teórica apropriada para posteriormente interpretar os dados obtidos. Foi utilizada uma abordagem mista de pesquisa, tratou-se ainda de uma pesquisa de caráter exploratório-descritivo e como técnica de coleta de dados, foi adotado a aplicação de questionários. A população da amostral foi de 253, a aplicação dos questionários ocorreu de forma remota via formulário do google forms e o método de coleta de dados foi bola de neve virtual. Os resultados obtidos através da análise das respostas a esses questionários, permitiram identificar os aspectos que mais influenciam o consumo de souvenir turístico, o perfil do consumidor que adquire os souvenirs como recurso de memória, a relação do souvenir com a memória do turista no momento de rememoração da experiência vivenciada na viagem e os significados mais atribuídos pelos turistas/consumidores aos souvenirs. A pesquisa revelou também, algo que outros autores compartilham: o mundo dos souvenirs é repleto de possibilidades de pesquisa e ainda há muito a explorar. Palavras-chave: souvenir; consumo; memória
This study aimed to understand / analyze the relationship of tourist souvenirs with the memory of tourists / consumers in the city of Tiradentes – MG. The methodology adopted to respond to the objectives of the investigation was initially based on a bibliographic research, in order to delimit the understanding of the concept of souvenir, memory, and consumption in order to acquire an appropriate theoretical basis to later interpret the data obtained. A mixed research approach was used. It was also an exploratory-descriptive research and as a data collection technique, the application of questionnaires was adopted. The sample population was 253, the questionnaires were applied remotely via google forms and the data collection method was a virtual snowball. The results obtained through the analysis of the answers to these questionnaires, allowed identifying the aspects that most influence the consumption of tourist souvenirs,the profile of the consumer who buys souvenirs as a memory trigger, the relationship of the souvenir with the memory of the tourist at the time of remembering the experience experienced in the trip and the meanings most attributed by tourists/consumers to the souvenirs. The research also revealed something that other authors share: the world of souvenirs is full of research possibilities and there is still much to explore. Keywords: souvenir; consumption; memory
