O uso de softwares livres como facilitadores do aprendizado de matemática no ensino fundamental

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem o objetivo de verificar o efeito do uso de recursos computacionais no processo de ensino/aprendizado de matemática nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental. Primeiramente, foi apresentado um breve relato sobre alguns softwares livres que podem ser utilizados no ensino da matemática, apresentando as vantagens e desvantagens de cada um. Em seguida, foi mostrada a an ́alise dos resultados obtidos na pesquisa realizada com os alunos dos oitavos e nonos anos de uma escola pública do município de Ubá. Ao final da pesquisa, foi possível concluir que o uso de recursos computacionais torna as aulas mais prazerosas, incentiva a participação dos alunos, além de permitir maior visualização dos conceitos matemáticos, estimulando assim a reflexão sobre os conteúdos trabalhados.This dissertation the objective of verify the effect of the use of computational resources in the mathematics teaching/learning process in the final years of basic education. First, it was presented a brief report about some free softwares that can be used in the teaching of mathematics, presenting the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Then the analysis of the results obtained in the survey conducted with students of the eighth and ninth years of a public school in the city of Ub ́a was shown. At the end of the research, it was concluded that the use of computational resources makes the classes more enjoyable, encourages the participation of the students, and allow better visualization of the mathematical concepts, stimulating so reflection about the contents worked.
