Abstract
Este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar o desempenho de gotejador e válvula autolimpante operando com águas contendo diferentes concentrações de sólidos totais. O experimento foi conduzido em esquema de parcelas sub-subdivididas, tendo nas parcelas dois tipos de finais de linha (convencional e válvula autolimpante), nas subparcelas águas com cinco concentrações diferentes de sólidos totais (7 mg L-1, 407 mg L-1, 1.007 mg L-1, 2.007 mg L-1, 4.007 mg L-1) e nas sub-subparcelas 60 avaliações do sistema de irrigação, no delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com três repetições. No final do período experimental cada gotejador aplicou o volume acumulado de 1,44 m3. Os parâmetros avaliados foram a vazão e as uniformidades de aplicação de água calculados por meio dos coeficientes de distribuição, Christiansen e estatístico. Águas contendo concentrações de sólidos totais inferiores a 17,7 e 44,8 mg L-1 aplicadas em sistemas equipados com finais de linha convencionais e autolimpantes, respectivamente, não afetaram o desempenho dos gotejadores. Sistemas de irrigação equipados com finais de linha autolimpantes proporcionaram melhor desempenho dos gotejadores operando com águas contendo 407 mg L-1 de sólidos totais.
This study aimed to evaluate the performance of a dripper and of a self-cleaning valve operating with water containing different concentrations of solids. The experiment was conducted in a sub-subplot design with two end of line devices in the plot (conventional and self-cleaning valve) as well as water with five different concentrations of solids in the subplots (7 mg L-1, 407 mg L-1, 1,007 mg L-1, 2,007 mg L-1, 4,007 mg L-1) and 60 different irrigation system assessments in the sub-subplots, all of these in a completely randomized design with three replications. At the end of the trial period, each dripper applied a total volume of 1.44 m³. The parameters evaluated were water flow and uniformities of water application calculated through distribution coefficient, Christiansen’s uniformity coefficient and statistical coefficients. The performance of the drippers tested was not affected by the application of water containing solid concentrations below 17.7 and 44.8 mg L-1 in irrigation systems equipped with conventional and self-cleaning end of line devices, respectively. Irrigation systems equipped with self-cleaning end of line devices provided better dripper performance when operating with water containing a total solid concentration of 407 mg L-1.
