Pesquisa agrícola e extensão rural: aspectos e mecanismos delineadores da interação institucional

Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem o objetivo geral de fornecer subsídios teóricos e práticos para a interação pesquisa agrícola e extensão rural, com vistas em reestruturar ações que visem à reorganização do sistema de C&T para o desenvolvimento regional. O sistema de C&T é problematizado por meio de uma das suas dimensões: a geração e a difusão de tecnologia. Como fenômeno institucional, a interação pesquisa e extensão constitui objeto de estudo deste trabalho. A hipótese é de que esta interação funcione como mecanismo institucional para a reorganização do sistema de C&T, especialmente para o setor agropecuário. A referência empírica deste estudo é delimitada pelas instituições de pesquisa e extensão rural localizadas em Fortaleza-CE, e as unidades de análise, os pesquisadores e extensionistas e os artefatos sociais expressos nos documentos das referidas instituições.The overall objective of this research is to provide a theoretical and practical basis for agricultural research rural extension interaction, aiming at the restructuring of the actions needed to reogarnize the C&T system for regional development. The C&T system constitutes a problem because of one of its dimensions: generation and diffusion of technology. As an institutional phenomenon, the interaction between research and extension is the object of study in this work. This interaction is assumed to act as an institutional mechanism for the reorganization of the C&T system, especially for the farming and cattle raising sector. The empirical reference of this study is delimited by the research and rural extension institutions located in Fortaleza - Ceará, as well as by the analysis units, researchers, extension workers and social artifacts mentioned in the documents of these institutions.
