Mulheres em movimento: experiências feministas na construção da agroecologia

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar as relações de gênero e agroecologia na Zona da Mata mineira, especificamente, i) investigar os sentidos da agroecologia para as mulheres que participam da Troca de Saberes; ii) analisar como as mulheres compreendem e contribuem para a construção da agroecologia e iii) investigar o papel das mulheres e dos feminismos na construção do conhecimento agroecológico. Deste modo, deve-se perguntar: onde estão e quais são os lugares ocupados pelas mulheres da agroecologia que participam da Troca de Saberes? O modelo desta pesquisa enquadra-se no estilo da pesquisa participante, incorporando a Troca de Saberes, evento que aglutina ensino, pesquisa e extensão, realizado anualmente na Universidade Federal de Viçosa, como ambiente metodológico. Para a imersão no campo de estudo, foram empregados os métodos de observação participante e a realização de oito entrevistas em profundidade. Entre os resultados, foi possível identificar como as mulheres compreendem e contribuem para a construção da agroecologia na Zona da Mata mineira a partir da Troca de Saberes. A Troca foi fundamentada como um local de construção agroecológica e da pesquisa participante, apresentando-se como a ‘síntese’, o momento de ‘ebulição’ do movimento agroecológico. Espaço que se mistura com a vida das entrevistadas e privilegia a construção do conhecimento agroecológico. Além disto, está a percepção de que o cuidado e a reprodução do trabalho desempenhados pelas mulheres são fundamentais na construção da práxis e dos conhecimentos da agroecologia, sendo esta indissociável de suas trajetórias. Palavras-chave: Gênero; Troca de Saberes; Construção do conhecimento agroecológico; Feminismo decolonial.The objective of this work is to investigate gender and agroecology relations in the Zona da Mata mineira, specifically, i) to investigate the meanings of agroecology for women who participate in the Knowledge Exchange; ii) to analyze how women understand and contribute to the construction of agroecology and iii) to investigate the role of women and feminisms in the construction of the agroecological knowledge. Thus, one must ask: where are and what are the places occupied by women in agroecology who participate in the Knowledge Exchange? The model of this research fits the style of participatory research, incorporating the Knowledge Exchange, an event that brings together teaching, research and extension, held annually at the Federal University of Viçosa, as a methodological environment. For immersion in the field of study, the methods of participant observation and eight in- depth interviews were used. Among the results, it was possible to identify how women understand and contribute to the construction of agroecology in the Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais from the Knowledge Exchange. The Exchange was founded as a site of agroecological construction and participatory research, presenting itself as the ‘synthesis’, the ‘boiling point‘ of the agroecological movement. A space that mixes with the lives of the interviewees and privileges the construction of agroecological knowledge. In addition, there is the perception that the care and reproduction of work performed by women are fundamental in the construction of praxis and knowledge of agroecology, which is inseparable from their trajectories.
